Mohibullah was a kid from Pakistan. He came to New Zealand as a refugee in 2015. His dad passed away in Pakistan in 2011 and the fighting made his mum and the younger siblings want to move far away. He was only nine when he left Pakistan. He has never heard  of New Zealand or even seen it. He couldn’t speak English but thankfully there were people who helped him know what people are saying. The MRRC helps refugees get ready for life in New Zealand. With their help, Mohibullah learnt to speak English in a month.

Spring Writing

As I am walking I can smell the fresh spring air going through my nose. I keep on walking until I see a colorful garden with lots of flowers like roses, jasmine and other types of flowers. I can smell the fresh air from the flowers spreading around the area. It is really relaxing in spring I would go to the beach and spend my whole time there.

Nectar is what bees collect to make honey.
Spiders like to eat insects.

Centipedes like to eat leaves and it turns into a butterfly.

In the Holidays

In the holidays I stayed home and played on the ps4  with my brother Pinomi. We played the game called Fortnite. We played the mod called Beach Assault  It was about two teams one is the defender and the other one is Attacker first I started as a defender. I got 56 kills and I won. I went on the other team but I didn't like it very much so I stopped playing that mod. Next my family got ready and went to my cousins house and that’s when I remembered that its my Mum’s birthday. My cousin and I played Black Ops 4 Zombies. We played Zombies for six minutes until my mum arrived. She brought a cake , drinks and yummy food. Next my other cousin came. My uncle , aunty and my step dad came. We started to eat and it was yummy. After all of the kids went outside and played football on the field it was getting dark so everybody went home and me and my family watched a movie and went to sleep.

Keeping Safe

My weekend

In the weekend I stayed home and I played on the PS4 with my sister and my brother. We played team rumble. My sister got 17 kills I got 19 kills and my brother got the same kills. Next my big brother played Black Ops 4 with our big cousin Malakai and that’s when our cousin came we played hide and seek and my big cousin was counting. 

He kept on cheating, so we made him count up to 50. I hid in my nana’s room under the bed. My brother hid under his clothes and my cousin my nana’s room on the bed. My big brother finished counting so he went in my nana’s room and found my cousin. So now he is in, but he didn't find me and my brother.  He looked everywhere but not under my brother’s clothes. He looked there and found my brother and I won. So now my cousin counting. My brother and I went in my sister’s room and went under the bed and we hid there, but my big brother came inside and played Black Ops 4. 

He didn’t know that we were there until we came out and he saw us as we went out of the room and looked for my cousin but he saw us and  no one won. 

My cousin’s went back home and that’s when we played on the PS4 we went on Netflix and the movie that we watched was Rim of the Word. 

In the movie there was kids that went to camp and the kids went to the lake to sail, but the man said “no” and there was a girl that walked away and a boy followed her but the girl went fast. The boy got lost and a black kid tried to face the other boys fear but a kid came out of nowhere and told the black boy to stop it. So the black boy got angry and wanted a fight so the boy punched him in the face and that’s when there was an explosion in space. 

There was spaceships fighting and there was an alien that jumped out of a spaceship and killed one kid. They ran to the vans but they were not there. They went back to the camp house but no one was there either. 

They went in town and went to the mall they got clothes and food they went to JBLand there was a call on the television. There was a big black man calling them. The man told them how to turn on the tower because it is broken the only way to stop the alien’s is the turn on the tower so the man told them how to on it they did everything and it all the alien’s died and everything went back to normal.

Keeping safe

My MONSTER story

A long long time ago, there was a little boy named Cyrus.  He keeps on getting bullied at school and when he is going home. When he went to the shops, there was a weird man that took Cyruse to a big rocky cave. 

In the cave there was people in cages, bats and potions . The man locked Cyrus in a cage and went in his room and watched tv. One of the girls in the cage had a pick lock. She opened the cage and escaped. 

The next day they went back to school and got bullied and went home and that’s when the girl came back to Cyrus and stole a potion that’s named devil. They had a drink of water the girl tipped the devil potion into the water and Cyrus drank it. 

Cyrus turned into a big red devil he went to the old town road and killed everybody there. He went to school and killed the people there but not the bullies. He took them to the devil’s hideout he hanged the bullies on a rope, sliced them with his fire sword. He went to the man’s cave and tried to defeat the man but the man was to powerful with his potions. He took a potion out and threw it at the devil. He got little and got his big sword cut his legs of and when he got bigger and sliced his head of and that’s when he named himself Demon skull.

My holiday

In the holidays, I went to my cousins house with my brother and my other cousin. When we got there, we played Fortnite and there was a new mod called End Game. In the mod there is Thor, Iron Man and some other heros. Next me, my brother, my cousin and my aunt went to look at their new house. There was five bedrooms, two toilets and two bathrooms. We stayed there for five mins and it got dark so we went to Pak’n Save. We got dinner. I got a drink and they got chips. Next we went home and ate dinner. We went outside in the dark and played hide and seek. My cousin and I were hiding and my brother and my other cousin were seeking. My cousin and I were hiding behind the gate. Then we  went to play on the ps4 we played Black Ops 4 zombies. We played the map blood of the dead we made it on level 47. Next we played some games of fortnite.Then we made the beds and went to sleep.

Autumn poem

Autumn is when golden leaves fall of the big tall tree

Under the tall tree are lots of colourful crunchy leaves.

The tree has red , golden and brown leaves.
Under my feet are big golden crunchy leaves.

March the 1st is autumn. Autumn is when it starts to get colder.

Near my feet, the ground is damp and cold.

My favorite animal

My favorite animal is a chimpanzee because they are cool and they eat bananas

Digestive System

In Room 9, we have been learning about the digestive system. I created a slideshow about the organs and how they work. I hope you enjoy.

Food for Thought

Wow you won't believe what I did yesterday. I went to Pak n Save to learn about being healthy and reading labels.

We learned about how much sodium, fat, energy, sugar and fibre in food so we know what to eat. We were in groups with our teacher.

Once we had finished, they gave us lunch boxes. It was so much fun.

I want to do it again and learn more about being healthy. We came back in our teachers car.

I am Tongan and my favourite rapper is 2 Pack but he died. My mums name is Ruth my dad left me when  I was a baby he went to Tonga and I haven't seen him for 8 years. My favourite fortnite player is tsm mith and I like watching him play with ninja on youtube. I go to Glenbrae school and I am in room 9 I like doing Art.
