best day ever

On wednesday 12 of February it was WATER FUN DAY !!. Water fun day is when the whole school gets separated into four groups of colours. One group is Rata is red , Nikau is blue , kowhai is yellow and kauri is green. We were doing water activities like water slide , sponge bob , water bomb , holey moley and lava flow. Water slide is when you get a cup full of water and slide down the water side you afto run to a bucket that has your house color on it and you pure the water in it. Everyone was screaming to win my favorite was the water slide because it was so slippery I

 kept on doing 360s it was so fun I wish we could do it again.

Mohibullah was a kid from Pakistan. He came to New Zealand as a refugee in 2015. His dad passed away in Pakistan in 2011 and the fighting made his mum and the younger siblings want to move far away. He was only nine when he left Pakistan. He has never heard  of New Zealand or even seen it. He couldn’t speak English but thankfully there were people who helped him know what people are saying. The MRRC helps refugees get ready for life in New Zealand. With their help, Mohibullah learnt to speak English in a month.

Spring Writing

As I am walking I can smell the fresh spring air going through my nose. I keep on walking until I see a colorful garden with lots of flowers like roses, jasmine and other types of flowers. I can smell the fresh air from the flowers spreading around the area. It is really relaxing in spring I would go to the beach and spend my whole time there.
